Dr. Evan Brody

Dr. Brody is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot surgery. Dr. Evan Brody is the Founder and President of Georgia Podiatry. He is a practicing physician and surgeon of all conditions of the foot.

Dr. Evan Brody is on staff at several hospitals and Surgery Centers in the greater Atlanta area. Dr. Brody is a member of the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association and American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is certified with the State of Georgia in Podiatric Medicine and is Board Certified in Foot Surgery with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Brody was born in Washington D.C. and moved with his family to South Florida where he lived until he graduated from High School. In 1991, he moved to Georgia and was accepted to the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he received a Bachelors of Science in Applied Biology in 1996. He then attended Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences for Podiatric Medicine and Surgery obtaining his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2000. While there he was elected class president for three years and received the Dean’s Leadership Award.

After receiving his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Brody did a three year residency program at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Atlanta from 2000 to 2003. There he produced training videos and developed surgical techniques for the 5th Ray and transmetatarsal amputation. He was elected the Chief Resident of the Atlanta, Veterans Administration Medical Center Residency Program in 2002.

Dr Brody treats patients of all ages and is an expert in the treatment of diabetic wound care and foot and ankle injuries. While Dr. Brody is highly trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, he uses surgery as the last resort, always first exhausting every effort to correct the problem with conservative treatment.

Dr. Harshil Patel

DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Patel is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot surgery as well as reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Harshil Patel was born in India and grew up in Palm Beach, Florida.

Dr. Harshil Patel attended the University of Miami, in Miami, Florida, where he received a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry in 2012. He then went on to complete his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Barry University’s School of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated at the top of his class in 2016. Dr. Patel attended a three-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Residency program at Bethesda Hospital East Baptist Health South Florida in Boynton Beach, FL, where he was elected Chief Resident during his final year of training.

During his surgical residency, Dr. Patel received extensive training treating patients of all ages in a high volume of lower extremity trauma, elective forefoot surgery, rearfoot reconstruction, pediatric surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, application of external fixators, total ankle replacements, as well as limb salvage procedures, including Charcot reconstruction and various types of foot amputations.

Dr. Patel is licensed in the State of Georgia to practice Podiatric Medicine, and is a member of the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association, and American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Erin Cupolo

Dr. Erin Cupolo was born in Wichita, Kansas and grew up in Glenwood, New Jersey.

Dr. Erin J. Cupolo was accepted to Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York where she received a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2004 and then attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, where she obtained her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2008. Dr. Cupolo did a two year surgical residency at the Charlie Norwood Veterans Administration Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia and is Board Certified in Diabetic Wound Care by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy. Dr. Cupolo is a member of the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association and The American Podiatric Medical Association.
